INTERVIEW WITH FIGEN GENCO:

G: How do people know about you?

Figen Genco (Ashananda): The international recognition came instantly through my series of EFT articles that were published in Gary Craig’s newsletters, and through my own monthly newsletters. I am known as the first professional organizer in the world who integrated EFT in her work. As far as I know I am still the only one- including all the other modalities I use.  Locally I am known through clients, audiences and readers. I provide a highly popular free organizing MANUAL “Clearing Clutter with EFT and I have designed a very unique long distance course “Pick a Room and Organize” (a six months online course).

G: Sounds very interesting! Are there any other products you offer?

Figen Genco: I have a series of EFT e-books called “Tap Along with Figen”. There are three books in this series, each covering a different aspect of EFT and letting go.  Another e-book is called 1-2-3 Feng Shui , which includes factors to assess, superimposing the Bagua Map, the command position, room by room, de-cluttering, feng shui cures, intentions and provides a variety of tips plus how to examine your property and how to pick a plot and building. Another e-book I offer is about meditation, easy ways to meditate, and my guided meditations for awareness and healing. It is called “Meditations from My Heart.”

G: You offer a very rare combination of services; Professional Organizing, Feng Shui, EFT, EmoTrance, Clairvoyant Readings, Healings and Spiritual Guidance. How do these all go together?

Figen Genco: I serve as a “Life Enhancement Expert”. My business originally started as Professional Organizing and has evolved into what it is now as I transformed personally.  The beauty is that while each component of my services can function separately; as a whole they are interrelated and complement each other. With the help of all the tools I have, I am able to see the whole which gets me to the core of a challenge rather than addressing the on-the-surface- problems which are very often just symptoms. I combine the awareness and understanding which comes from all the modalities I offer to find and address the root of the problems. Everything I use is personally tested, applied and proven to work if it is received and practiced. All these tools help me while offering suggestions and solutions to my clients love the way they live.

G: How is it different now than when you first started as a Professional Organizer?

Figen Genco: Not very different in the way I think; however now I have the knowledge and the tools. Before I had a feeling that there was more than what seemed to the eye, what was going below the surface but I didn’t have the training and the tools to offer the additional help in my client’s inner environment while creating beauty and order in their outer environment.

G: Who are your clients?

Figen Genco: I have worked with quite a diversity of individuals and couples one-on-one as a consultant and with groups in class environments. Even though I seem to often attract women in my age group; I have had the opportunity to work with different age groups and genders. So far my youngest client was an 8-year-old boy. Along with many local clients I personally visit, I work with long distance clients in the US and around the world. It is fun!

G: Do you like what you do?

Figen Genco: I love what I do. My personal life, likes and skills are completely assimilated into my business life. I get to meet with different people, go to interesting places, write, speak, teach, learn, give advice, help people understand better and make them feel good. I am respected for my abilities, wisdom and knowledge. I do whatever I want! What else is there?

G: How do you give back?

Figen Genco: I publish a free monthly newsletter in which I target to inspire, motivate, encourage and empower the people who are receiving it and indirectly the people who my subscribers are in connection with. I have been offering free tele-seminars, through others’ programs and my own. My intention and affirmation is that “I create awareness and raise the vibration of everyone I get in contact with; I look at, talk to, touch, and who thinks of me and my words.” I work on leaving a seed of change for growth wherever I go within my capability at the time.
